SilkeMat is a non-carcinogenic refractory fibre blanket that can be cut, moulded, rigidised and formed. It can also be used with and without rigidising. There is no “shot” (tiny bits of silica) in this product and most firings are clean, leaving only the texture of the fibre on the glass.
