Introducing an exciting new range for painting on glass without fusing!

Our DecoArt paint range is a premium, indoor/outdoor acrylic that can be used on almost any surface including glass. They are self-sealing, so no primer or varnish is required and they offer excellent coverage in one to two coats. This special formula is designed to brush out smoothly and once fully cured, creates a durable, hard finish that is highly resistant to cleaning chemicals and dishwasher safe.

Creating the dishwasher safe glass is a simple process. Start by cleaning the surface with alcohol and allowing it to completely dry. Create the painting and leave it to dry for four days. Place in a cool oven, set the temperature to 325°F and bake for 30 minutes. Cool with the oven door partially open. Now your glass painting will be permanent and ready for indoor/outdoor use and dishwasher safe.

The paint can be used on a huge variety of surfaces including most plastics, wood, canvas, fabric, metal, ceramics and terracotta. This paint is not safe for direct contact with food.

Deluxe Traditional Stained Glass Painting Kit

At Perth Art Glass we are now stocking a traditional stained glass painting kit that contains all the tools and supplies needed to create beautiful painted glass art of your own. Can be used for both traditional techniques and the amazing kiln-fired Vitri-Fusaille process.

Vitri-Fusáille is a hybrid technique that combines the process of Contemporary Flat Glass Fusing with Traditional Glass Painting. It allows for a degree of immediate and expressive artistry which until recently was never possible in stained glass.
