Product Updates

Temperature Controlled Soldering Iron

Our new professional soldering iron with adjustable Temperature is a fantastic all rounder tool for the glass arts. With a temperature range from 200C - 500C and three unique tips it is a great soldering iron for copper foiling and stained glass.
Mirrored Glass

If you were as obsessed as we were with these beautiful mirrored glass tiles we used recently you'll be excited to know that we'll be stocking a range of coloured glass mirrored hobby squares in store soon.

Rough Cast Glass

This new texture will be added to our range of clear textured glass products soon. Clear textures maximise light while providing privacy and beauty to stained glass windows.
Workshops

Our 2021 workshops are nearly at an end with only a few classes left in November. We've had a wonderful year with enthusiastic students of all disciplines flexing their creativity in the studio. Thank you to all who came to learn something new or brush up on your skills!

The 2022 course list will be released in early February so keep an eye on your emails for a special edition newsletter. If you're looking to give a workshop to someone this Christmas we also have gift cards available for our most popular courses.

In the Studio

Margaret has been experimenting with our new Silkemat® product range, .

SilkeMat Is a non-carcinogenic refractory fibre blanket that can be cut, moulded, rigidized and formed. The moulds made from it are only limited by your imagination and kiln size. Moulds can be reused to create consistent organic forms or cut off to release the glass as in the case of this cute jellyfish creation.

If you are interested in buying a jellyfish, Margaret has produced a small range that can be viewed and purchased in store.
