Alkimos Oceanscape
A beautiful new piece of glass art has been installed by Perth Art Glass giving this aged care facility in Alkimos a spectacular backdrop to their reception desk.
The workshop crew put in tremendous effort to create this masterpiece.The artwork measures 1200 x 6300mm and is custom textured, low iron, 10mm glass, painted, mirrored and includes laminated surface details. Each panel is just over 60kg giving a total weight of 180kg.
Thanks to our friends at Living Iron who, with Ian, designed the discrete mounting brackets and make sure they were engineered to take the load. Thanks also to Glass Surface Coatings for letting us take over their spray booth and allowing us to direct them during the spraying.
